Very friendly staff. The room was clean, and it felt very safe. Strongly recommend! The hostel is located a 5 min walk from a beautiful beach.

Amazing hostel!

Amazing hostel! The staff were incredible especially Diego, he recommended us walks and was very helpful during our stay. The hostel is right next to the beach and a bus stop so it’s easy to get around the island. Just a really nice vibe place!

Absolutely brilliant stay here

Absolutely brilliant stay here, easily one of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed in! Located next to a beautiful beach, the bus stop was close by, so it was easy for me to get around (I don't drive). Hostel itself is clean, organised, fantastic facilities (kitchen and bathroom). Rooms were very clean and small and neat. It’s a very calm, chill but friendly atmosphere, was exactly what I was looking for. Staff were super helpful and so friendly, definitely recommending to others and will return!

Pure perfection

Had an incredible stay at Waiheke Backpackers and will definitely return! The view from the garden of the ocean was stunning and a good place to eat, or chill in a hammock. A short distance to the beach where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. Bus stop very close, where you can travel all around the island. Best of all was the staff - Diego and Victoria, thank you for being the most wonderful, informative and friendly hosts, your hospitality really is something I will cherish

A great hostel to explore and relax in Waiheke Island

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, never has such a great guest experience! The location is great, with an amazing view of the ocean and minutes to Onetangi beach.
