Booking Terms & Conditions

Payment Policy

All rates are GST (15%) inclusive and are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$). All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.

HOUSE RULES AND POLICY OF STAY:

  • No sleeping bags or own blankets are allowed.
  • Free Guest Wi-Fi is provided up to 1GB per day in communal areas.
  • Rooms, lounge, kitchen/dinning and laundry facilities are for guest use only no visitors.
  • WBH is a Smoke Free facility. No Smoking inside any buildings or rooms.
  • Before checking out and handing in your keys please take your sheets and pillow case off bed and place in the Laundry in the marked bag or basket before you check out. Leave blankets folded on the bed.

Kitchen
Kitchen is open from 6.30am and closes at 10.30pm for cooking. There is cookware and crockery located in the kitchen. Please ensure you wash, put away and leave clean and tidy all dishes, cookware and space you use.

For enjoyment of all Guest stays
Please ensure all areas used are kept tidy and be respectful and mindful of all guests by keeping noise levels low to ensure all enjoy their stay. 11pm quiet time and closing of outdoor areas.

With the exception of medically certified disability assist dogs, pets are not permitted.

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at any time from any person if we reasonably believe the person:

  • is not the person named on the reservation
  • is not the person named on the credit card or not be authorized to use the card
  • is not able to pay for any additional charges
  • may cause damage to the property of the hostel or other guests
  • may exhibit socially unacceptable behavior
  • is younger than 18 years and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age.

We reserve the right to eject guests from the hostel who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking hostel rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.

Cancellation Policy

We require 72 hours’ notice prior to the day of arrival for a 75% refund for any bookings outside of the summer holiday period (December 26th to February 6th).

Any cancellations under 72 hours at this time will not receive a refund. During the summer holiday period (December 26th to February 6th), we require 14 days’ notice prior to the day of arrival for a 75% refund.

Any cancellations received under 14 days will not receive a refund. Any amendments to a booking resulting in a reduction of guest numbers or an early departure will be treated as a cancellation.

Check In Policy

Check in and check out Policy: Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10:30am on the day of departure.

Late Check-ins/Check-out where possible, can be arrange by contacting the reception during office hours.
